Max is a secondee from Nous Group, bringing a wealth of experience in HE consulting.
In his time at Nous and Nous Data Insights, Max has utilised his data analytics skills to advise universities on critical strategic decisions and developed his facilitation techniques through workshops and interviews in a variety of contexts and environments.
Influential work
- Developed a new strategic management system for a UK university. The work involved developing a detailed planning process and strategic PowerBI dashboard.
- Redesigned three key processes using agile methodology and helped a University implement these changes.
- Aided in the development of detailed student journey maps for a Russell Group university.
- Worked with a university to develop their digital and physical estates strategy using a human centered design approach.
Outside of Nous Data Insights
Max previously worked as an Audit Trainee, performing analytical procedures on balance sheet and income statement accounts. In this role, he worked with several UK-listed financial services firms. His other work experience includes private equity and corporate finance internships.
During his university study of a Bachelor of Arts (mathematics, accounting and financial management) at the University of Sheffield, Max had a role in the Investment Society, in which he aided in the management of a fund of more than £250,000.

Max’s young daughter takes up most of his free time, but he also enjoys climbing and playing tennis.
